1. Set your priorities straight

Prioritize what’s important and let go of things that are not important. Setting boundaries at a workplace is important. Learn to say no, no matter how hard it might be. Do yourself a favor and stop burdening yourself with a pile of files to crosscheck. Don’t commit to what’s practically impossible unless you intend to succumb to a mental breakdown.

2. Health is Wealth

Take care of your body, it’s where you and your brain lives.

Do not be afraid to seek therapy if you are facing anxiety or depression due to work. Call in sick when you feel sick. Exercise well and eat healthy. Take stairs and ditch the elevator. Remember, they will not reward you for the number of hours you sit at your desk, but for the outcome of your job. Hence, finding that balance is vital.

3. Take a Break

You worked for weeks over that new project, pulled all-nighters and got your work done. Now it’s time to go on a vacation. Take a week’s holiday. Book tickets to your favorite destination. Pack your bags and get going. Give your mind and body a rest.

8. Plan a schedule

Listing out things in the hierarchy of what’s more important. Sticking with the schedule plans out the entire day of work and decreases the workload.
